Horses are an important part of my life. Not only because I'm an equine massage therapist, but because I'm that classic horse crazy girl who grew up with a dream of having my own horse one day. I devoured the Black Stallion series of books, reading them over and over again. I loved watching Roy Rogers and Trigger, National Velvet and My Friend Flicka. I would daydream of having that special bond of love and trust with one of God's magnificent creatures. To the horse lover, horses are more than just tools to achieve a competitive goal or perform a job. They are integral to who we are and make us better people for having them in our lives.
