Hello, my name is Diane, I'm so happy you stopped by and I'm excited to share my experience with using Young Living Essential Oils.

I have many passions in life - but my biggest "why" for getting up each day is to live for, and glorify - the God Who created us in His image - and gave us these amazingly complex bodies to live in while we are here.  I fall short in many ways each day, so I am so grateful for God's grace - offered through the gracious gift of His Son, Jesus, who took what I deserved on the cross.  Because of sin, this world is not what God intended it to be.  Enter evil and sickness and pain and suffering.  This is a big part of what started my oily journey.

In 2015 I had a front row seat to the final months of cancer ravaging my mom's body and taking it's final toll on her organs after a five plus year battle.  Prior to her diagnosis of stage 4 Ovarian Cancer in 2009, my mom had been quite healthy.  During this season I experienced some of my own health challenges too and through personal research began learning about some of the causes of cancer and other ingredients found in many products that had been approved by the FDA that other countries had banned because of their known health risks.   The information I was discovering opened my eyes to the toxic products that are commonly used by most people - including myself - with no idea of their harmful side effects.

I had been introduced to Young Living essential oils several years before by my chiropractor who sold me a bottle of Thieves and Peppermint for winter wellness - then she moved her practice up north and the little bottles were tucked away in my bathroom cabinet . . . BUT I did not really start learning about all of their amazing benefits until recently when I attended a workshop at a friend's house and was motivated to further research their uses for replacing toxic products with healthy, non-toxic alternatives in my everyday life. I have really had fun learning and sharing with others through workshops like the one that got me started - about how these pure, therapeutic grade essential oils can be used in so many different ways in every area of my life - to support natural health and wellness - from daily hygiene to every room in my home! ;-)

I had no idea that the God who created the human body had also created plants with so many benefits for our wellness!  I had not been exposed to this kind of education before.  DISCLAIMER - this does not mean that this side of heaven we will not experience a lot of effects of the fall.  It does mean that before synthetic drugs entered the picture - people had been using plant based resources and remedies  - including essential oils - for hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of years!

Healthy ResOiLution

So now I usually try to eat somewhat healthy because my body just doesn't like me very much when I am putting a lot of junk food in it. Trust me, I like a big bowl of Carmel Turtle Fudge Blue Bell Ice Cream or piping hot Chocolate Molten Lava Cake to end a meal about as much as anybody I know, so I'm not saying I don't partake in these yummy delights from time to time!  ;-)

However, in battling some of my own health issues and having a front row to the increasing health challenges of close family and friends the last few years - my quest to learn more about how to optimize a healthy immune system has really been magnified as well as my passion for nutrition and an overall healthy lifestyle!

So, what started with inhaling some drops of Young Living Peppermint and Thieves oils on a cotton ball at the chiropractor's office -  has turned in to a growing healthy res_OiLution that eventually led me to create a webpage so that I could more easily share with others - and that is also why I began this blog  ;-)

If you know me very well - you  know I like to tell others about the many ways to use essential oils to stay ABOVE the wellness line.   My sister even gave me a t-shirt that says, "WARNING, I may start talking about Essential Oils at any time"  LOL!  . . . I guess I have to admit it's true BUT . . .  I do have many other hobbies too!  These include:  traveling, hiking, hanging out with family and friends, reading, playing games, breakout challenges  :-), Bible study, teaching, crafting, and pretty much ANY outdoor adventure!  So I'll probably be blogging about some of these passions as well!

If results are important to you, I hope you spend some time reading a bit on my website and learning more about how they have helped me.  From cleaning my home - to my personal hygiene - with toxic-free products, I have seen great improvement in my overall wellness and am so thankful for that - and that I no longer have to spend hours at the grocery or health food store reading labels to try and find something that is legitimately safe to use.   Authenticity is very important, not only for the bottles of oils but for the oil-infused products as well.  The Seed-to-Seal practices of Young Living are what gave me peace of mind in choosing to use them over the other brands I researched.

Please don’t hesitate to reach out to me and/or follow this blog if you have a question you can't find the answer for and/or would like to learn more!

Amazed by His grace,

Diane
