Seems like here in Texas we just kinda go from summer to winter most years and skip right over Fall – which happens to be my favorite season! As the seasons change and the air begins to chill, it can feel like Fall no matter what the temperature outside with a little diffusing of some of my Fall Favorite Diffuser Blends!
Warm your home with some of these diffuser blends - I think you'll love them!
This is a great time of year to fill your home with the aroma of . . .
AUTUMN SPICE

2 drops Ginger 2 drops Cinnamon
MULLED CIDER
4 drops Orange
2 drops Nutmeg 1 drop Cinnamon Bark
1 drop Clove

FOREVER FALL*
4 drops Thieves
3 drops Orange
*This one is especially good for supporting your family's immune system ANY time of the year
FALL LEAVES
6 drops Orange
1 drop Patchouli
1 drop Ginger
NOTE: Everyone's sense of smell and preference for potency is unique. You can ADJUST drops for all of these by 1 drop more if too weak or less if too strong & refresh as needed!
ROOM SPRAYS
Any of these diffuser blends can also make great Fall Room Sprays. Add the same amount of oils to a 2 oz glass sprayer bottle and fill remaining with distilled water. Shake well before each use. For larger sprayer bottles – adjust drops of oil based on ratio. 4 oz glass sprayer bottles would be double the drops – and so forth.

WHY I SWITCHED TO DIFFUSING YOUNG LIVING'S THERAPEUTIC GRADE ESSENTIAL OILS INSTEAD OF BURNING CANDLES:
I used to LOVE burning candles – especially around the holidays! I used to have candles in my fireplace instead of firewood for fires . .
and I wish I could rewind to when I didn't know about all the problems with the toxicity of scented candles! But I can't . . .
. . . though they may seem safe – they are a huge source of indoor air pollution because they put off chemicals that are considered just as dangerous as second-hand smoke.
PARAFFIN is a petroleum waste product and has to be deodorized and chemically bleached before it can be made in to wax. Most candles are made of paraffin wax, which creates highly toxic benzene and toluene when burned (both are known carcinogens).
In 2001 the Environmental Protection Agency concluded that burning paraffin candles emit harmful amounts of toxins in the air that are considered above the excess cancer risk, with multiple exposures. In addition, many wicks contain lead that emits toxic levels of airborne heavy metals above acceptably safe levels.
In fact, the toxins released from paraffin candles are the same as those found in diesel fuel fumes. On top of all that – scented candles (as well as many other air fresheners) contain artificial scents – and dyes, which release additional chemicals when burned (or sprayed). Other toxic chemicals that may be present in the paraffin mixture and relased through burning include: Acetone, Trichlorofluoromethane, Carbon Disulfide, 2-Butanone, Trichloroethane, Trichloroethene, Carbon Tetrachloride, Tetrachloroethene, Chlorobenzene, Ethylbenzene, Styrene, Xylene, Phenol, Cresol, Cycopentene, Some of the toxins are found in other products such as paint, laquer and varmish removers – that's potent and powerful stuff!
Petro-soot from paraffin candles gives off the same soot as the exhaust of a diesel engine – causing problems from headaches to lung cancer and found to cause tumors in the kidneys and liver of lab animals!
