Diffusers, diffusers. There are so many options now! Young Living's promo this month includes their travel diffuser that fits in a cup holder. How cool is that?! 

When looking for a diffuser, make sure you are purchasing one that was designed to be used with essential oils. These combine the therapeutic power of essential oils with the pleasant aroma they spread throughout your home. One of my favorite things about using a diffuser is that I can create a custom scent each time I use it, unlike candles, where you have the same scent each time you light it. If I feel like I want a citrus blast, or want to feel like I'm in a forest, there are essential oils that can bring that experience. If my girls woke up cranky, I have mood-boosting oils that I can add to the diffuser, creating a quick pick-me-up for them AND me. 

I love the tree oils for their smell and emotionally grounding effects. Pine, cypress, and Idaho Balsam Fir are some of my favs that I continue to reach for when filling our diffusers. I often pair them with a citrus oil like Lemon or Orange for more emotional benefits (hello, house with 4 females). 

At bedtime, I like to use calming oils like Cedarwood, Lavender and the Peace & Calming blend.
