The Young Living Health Plan just got a major upgrade

Back in 2024 Young Living introduced their new Health Plan.  NOW…, more recently, Young Living has made some BIG changes to the way their Health Plan works.  I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised at the improvements.  

This is one of the biggest shifts we’ve seen yet—and it’s going to change how people actually use their healthcare.

The plan (through Clearshare) has now partnered with Savvos—a Fortune 500 fintech company bringing self-pay transparency into healthcare.

Translation:

You can now see prices upfront, shop around, and take control of your care—instead of dealing with the typical insurance confusion, delays, and denials.

WHY THIS MATTERS

Let’s be honest—traditional insurance is complicated and often frustrating.

Meanwhile, people who pay cash?

• They often get better pricing and more flexibility.

This upgrade basically bridges that gap:

• Self-pay pricing + structured healthshare support = more control, more transparency

WHAT’S NEW (AND WORTH PAYING ATTENTION TO):

• Holistic Plan:

You can now use these with:

• Acupuncturists
• Chiropractors
• Naturopaths
• MDs + Nurse Practitioners
• Licensed Massage Therapists (NEW)
• Functional Nutrition Practitioners (NEW)
• Doctors of Physical Therapists (NEW)
• Registered Dietitians (NEW)

$175 per visit covered

• At the time of your appointment, your plan card is loaded with $175 to pay your provider directly.
• If they charge more, you just cover the difference.

Expanded flexibility for therapies

• IV drips/injections are now rolled into those 35 visits if you have the Holistic Plan—and you can now also do self-injections prescribed by a licensed provider

(think: glutathione, NAD, etc.)

Young Living product coverage expanded

• You’re no longer limited to essential oils and/or supplements—you can now purchase all Young Living products (no pet products except AnimalScents ointment) and submit for reimbursement.

HOW THE NEW SYSTEM WORKS

This is where it gets really different (in a good way):

• You book your appointment
• Confirm it in the app
• Your card gets pre-loaded with the approved amount
• You pay at the time of service

No chasing reimbursements. No guessing.

• Tell providers you’re self-pay
• Get pricing upfront
• Compare options if you want
• Confirm in the app → card gets loaded → you pay directly

If you find lower-cost providers, you can actually save significantly—and in some cases, even reduce or eliminate your out-of-pocket max.

The upgrades are live as of May 1, but the app is still catching up—so some info inside may not reflect these changes just yet.
