ALL PURPOSE CLEANER

This is our favorite cleaner, and we use it for every cleaning job in our house.  Imagine…, One bottle to do ALL your cleaning!  Throw away all those toxic cleaning products and replace them with this.  So easy and so economical.  Get a 16oz glass spray bottle.  Fill it with water.  Add ONE capful of the Thieves Household Cleaner, and voila!!  Amazing cleaning ability and the smell is very pleasant as well.  No chemicals, so you can turn the kiddos loose with the cleaning as well.

CARPET FRESHENER

I LOVE this amazing Carpet Freshener.  Get a large Mason Jar with a solid lid and a “screen” type lid. Add 1 cup (or more) of Baking Soda.  Add 20 drops of Purification essential oil (or any essential oil of your choice).  With the solid lid on the jar, shake to combine, then let sit for 8 hours (or overnight).  Sprinkle onto the carpet and let sit for at least an hour.  Then vacuum.  You’ll enjoy an amazingly fresh smell, and you can be confident that the essential oils have lifted the germs out of your carpet leaving them smelling clean and fresh.   

Oh Yeah!!!  I cannot say enough about this amazing Spot Cleaner.  Again…, using your Thieves Household Cleaner, and your 16 oz spray bottle.  Add water to the spray bottle.  This recipe calls for 6 cups water to 1 capful Thieves Household Cleaner.  This recipe would make the Household cleaner even more economical.  However, I usually just use what I have in my spray bottle already (1 capful to 16oz water).  Either way, just spray on the spot and let it sit.  In 15 minutes, go back and ruffle the area with your fingers (never rub the carpet fibers as that can damage the carpet threads).  If you can still see the spot, spray again and follow the above directions until the spot is totally gone.  

I used this on a pillow that one of my grandkids decided to decorate with a magic marker!  It took several sprayings, but the marker finally came out and the pillow was as good as new!  Just be patient, keep spraying and gently ruffling with your fingers.  It’s all good!  

DEEP CLEAN SCRUB

This is an amazing recipe to work on tough stains like coffee build-up, soap scum, etc., in your kitchen sink, bathroom sink, tub and shower.  Don’t you love how versatile our Thieves Household Cleaner is?

GLASS CLEANER

To prevent streaks on your glass, be sure to use this diluted recipe.  Mix in a larger container and fill two spray bottles.  NOTE:  Always add the water and White Vinegar first and then the Thieves Household Cleaner (to prevent the suds from overflowing), then add the Lemon Essential Oil.

HEAVY DEGREASER

This recipe is amazing for cutting through those heavy greasy pots and pans!  Or your stovetop after frying your fried foods.  However, I have also just used my All Purpose recipe.  When I have a heavily soiled pan, I rinse it off as best I can with hot water.  Then I spray it with my All Purpose Thieves Spray and let it sit for a bit.  I can usually come back to a much easier-to-clean pot.

If you have cleaners at your house, and you hate to get rid of them, please…, check to make sure they do not contain any of the ingredients listed above.  These ingredients are toxic and rack havoc with our bodies—these are the main cause of unfavorable health conditions (see below).  Young Living’s products are all scientifically proven to be safe.

Do you or your family members experience any of the above health concerns?  It could very well be your cleaning products that are racking havoc.  Our skin is the largest organ of our bodies.  If our skin comes into contact with these harsh ingredients, it absorbs them into our bodies.  And, of course, smelling their fumes as well.  When you inhale an aroma, scent molecules interact with the lining of the nose. This tells the neurons there to generate a message for the olfactory bulb, which processes the signal and sends information about the smell to the limbic system—the center of emotion and memory. STOVE SCRUB

Do you have a self-cleaning oven?  I have often wondered if it was safe.  If it was cleaning like I wanted it to.  Or, was it pumping something toxic into my home that I didn’t want?  I little bit of research told me that a self-cleaning oven gets the cavity squeaky clean without a drop of chemical cleaner—and without much elbow grease. It achieves this feat by heating to temperatures north of 800° F to burn off baked-in spills and spots, leaving you with a thin layer of white ash that’s easily wiped off with a sponge.  I don’t like doing the self-clean option, simply because the smell is usually horrendous (even when my stove isn’t that bad).  But, I feel much better knowing now that no toxic chemicals are being pumped into my home.  

So…, the Stove Scrub recipe above would be great for those who do not have a self-cleaning option.  However, even if you do have and use a self-cleaning feature, it would also be good to use this recipe to go in and clean up the “white ash” that is left behind after using the self-cleaning feature.

TOILET SCRUB

Personally, I keep my All Purpose Cleaner spray bottle close to my toilet.  After each use, I spray the inside of the toilet to keep it smelling fresh and clean longer.  However, I am not the only one who uses the toilets in our home (can’t attest to what others do 🧐), so from time to time they do need a deep clean.  I love this recipe for that reason.

WOOD FLOOR POLISH

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this recipe.  It’s not only good for wood floors, but you can use it on your wood furniture as well.  I put in a 16oz spray bottle, spray a little section at a time, and mop with a soft wood floor mop.  For your wood furniture, also spray a little section at a time and use a soft cloth to work into the wood.  Then go back over it with a clean cloth to shine it up.  Works great.
