Young Living's Exodus II

In reading this morning during my daily quiet time I am in Leviticus 8 and I read about the Anointing Oil that God gave to Moses. I wanted to research the Anointing Oil further, so I went back and read in Exodus 30:22-33 where God gives Moses the recipe for the Anointing Oil and how to use it:

22 Then the Lord said to Moses, 23 “Take the following fine spices: 500 shekels[d] of liquid myrrh, half as much (that is, 250 shekels) of fragrant cinnamon, 250 shekels[e] of fragrant calamus, 24 500 shekels of cassia—all according to the sanctuary shekel—and a hin[f] of olive oil. 25 Make these into a sacred anointing oil, a fragrant blend, the work of a perfumer. It will be the sacred anointing oil. 26 Then use it to anoint the tent of meeting, the ark of the covenant law, 27 the table and all its articles, the lampstand and its accessories, the altar of incense, 28 the altar of burnt offering and all its utensils, and the basin with its stand. 29 You shall consecrate them so they will be most holy, and whatever touches them will be holy.

30 “Anoint Aaron and his sons and consecrate them so they may serve me as priests. 31 Say to the Israelites, ‘This is to be my sacred anointing oil for the generations to come. 32 Do not pour it on anyone else’s body and do not make any other oil using the same formula. It is sacred, and you are to consider it sacred. 33 Whoever makes perfume like it and puts it on anyone other than a priest must be cut off from their people.’”

NOTE: "Priests".
"The doctrine of the priesthood of all believers states that all believers in Christ share in His priestly status; therefore, there is no special class of people who mediate the knowledge, presence, and forgiveness of Christ to the rest of believers, and all believers have the right and authority to read, interpret, and apply the teachings of Scripture."

So..., what God told Moses back in Exodus "do not pour on anyone else's body", does not apply today because of what Christ did for us on the Cross.  This Anointing Oil is no longer just for "Priests", but for everyone who believes in the Name of Jesus. 

Isn't that amazing???

And so..., Our Young Living Founder, D. Gary Young, formulated Exodus II with this oil recipe in mind, and here are the ingredients of Exodus II:
*Myrrh
*Cinnamon
*Calamus (Is not one of YL's single oils but is included in the Exodus II oil blend--look it up!)
*Cassia  (is currently oos as a single oil, but can be purchased in the Oils of Scripture kit)
*Olive Oil

All of the above ingredients that God gave to Moses for the Anointing Oil...

PLUS:
*Northern Lights Black Spruce
*Hyssop
*Vetiver
*Frankincense

All of these amazing oils in one blend!!!  It has to be amazing!

A practical recipe that I saw in another post, and that we have been using to help support our immune system is:

Two Tablespoons Rose Ointment
10 Drops Exodus II¹   
10 Drops Thieves
Mix together in a small airtight container and use q-tip to swab inside each nostril daily (be sure to use clean end of q-tip for each nostril!  😬 ). I have really dry itchy ears, and have found that swabbing this inside my ears (careful not to go too far in toward my eardrum) does an amazing job at keeping the itchy ears away!!!
