Recognition of Gary Young by Clint Walker

For those who do not remember Clint Walker, he stared in the TV series Cheyenne back in 1955-1962.  And in the movie Yellowstone Kelly in 1959.  According to his Biography, Clint was a staunch conservative Republican, and he was a Health Food addict.

Clint honored Gary with the Spirit of Young Living award at the 2013 International Grand Convention.  In Clint's admiration for Gary, he stated "Gary is like a modern-day Moses, leading the people of the world from chemical bondage to the freedom of natural products and the discovery of essential oils."

Who is Gary Young

Gary grew up in a very meager lifestyle.  Twelve miles from the nearest town, no electricity or running water.  As an older teen, he moved to Canada, got in on the homestead act with 320 acres in the wilderness.  His life was changed forever.

At age 24, he suffered a severe logging accident, and was confined to a wheelchair, with a diagnosis of "he will never walk again".

After attempting suicide by fasting--only drinking water with lemon juice for over 8 months--he felt movement.  He discontinued all medications and started increasing his knowledge of herbs and "natural healing".

However, the world was not ready for his discoveries.  People laughed, slandered, and told him what he was trying to do was impossible.  But..., those who had been using his products began to spread the word.

Gary has traveled the world looking for the hidden secrets of God's oils.  He has traveled the four corners of the earth, on dangerous roads seeking truth with gratitude for God's blessings in his life.  He invested 34+ years in research and discovery of essential oils.

No other company in the world has a founder with the guts and determination that our beloved founder had.  He was a true pioneer in essential oil research, with an inner knowledge of God's great gift of essential oils to mankind.
