My Wellness Journey

Welcome friends and Happy New Year 2020!

This is my new updated website and blog!  I am so excited about the new changes and hope to continue to share my inspirations as a woman, wife, nurse, mother and nana along with sharing why I love and how I use essential oils and wellness products.

I started my journey with essential oils four years ago and have been a fan of their natural healing and health capabilities ever since.  I am working to live a balanced life and a chemical-free lifestyle.  As a nurse, I am great at taking care of others – I have been doing that for over 40 years! But I haven’t been so good at taking care of myself.  It’s time for this baby boomer to finally hit the reset button and make peace with my body.  It is funny, as I was thinking that I’m probably too old to start this journey and won’t have enough energy to do it, this saying popped up:  “You are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream.”  Providential, I’d say!

So why am I here?

• It fits me.
• It fits my lifestyle.
• It’s natural and healthy.
• Life is really fun when I do it on my terms.
• I love people and this is a people business.

My goal is a healthier lifestyle. As I am getting older and different things in my body change with age, I am trying to resist the urge to chase the latest prescription or OTC remedy. Those things are filled with so many toxins that do more damage in the long run, especially if you’re on them long term.  That is one of the reasons I started looking into essential oils.  Now I keep running into people that have been using these little drops of joy for years, but have never shared them with me.  Why, I ask?  I wish someone had taken the time to share long ago. It’s never too late to learn and apply what you’ve learned.  And it’s more important to share it with others and pass on good knowledge to them.   Thankfully, as I learned more, my sweet sister-in-law suggested I look into Young Living.  And the rest is history.

I am a person who loves inspirational quotes and I think Robin Sharma’s Rules for Being Amazing really applies:
