Winter Wellness ~ Stay Well This Flu Season

The Flu Season Is Hitting Hard & Has Not Peaked Yet!

  • Influenza A(H1N1)pdm09 and A(H3N2) were the predominant viruses reported this week.
  • Fevers spiking 102+ for 4-8 days, often worse at night.
  • Symptoms may improve in 3 days and then reappear.
  • Persistent wet cough that gets worse by days 4 & 5.
  • An increasing number of adults are contracting this strain compared to previous seasons.

What can you do?

  • Get lots of rest.
  • Drink plenty of fluids like water and bone broth ** add Vitality Oils to your water.
  • Eat healthy foods like fruits and vegetables.
  • Use a vaporizer or humidifier to add moisture to the air and diffuse your oils like Thieves and Purification.

You should seek emergency care for the flu if you experience any of the following symptoms:

  • Shortness of breath: You have difficulty breathing or are having trouble breathing
  • Chest pain: You have pain or pressure in your chest
  • Dehydration: You have dry mouth, no tears when crying, or haven't urinated in 8 hours
  • Seizures: You experience seizures
  • Confusion: You are confused or have sudden dizziness
  • Severe vomiting: You are vomiting severely or persistently
  • Bluish lips or face: Your lips or face appear bluish
  • Ribs pulling in: Your ribs pull in with each breath
  • Severe muscle pain: You have severe muscle pain
  • Worsening conditions: Your existing medical conditions worsen

Here are several methods to incorporate Young Living essential oils and essential oil-infused products into your daily routine, promoting your health throughout the winter season:
