I’m loving my newest recipe creation which I’m calling “Summer Happiness in a Bottle” because this amazingly effective all-purpose cleaner has a citrusy fresh clean scent.
Adding essential oils to an already amazing product boosts its cleaning power and adds a summer clean scent to the areas where you are cleaning that may help boost your mood and makes cleaning fun and freshens your home.
Allow me to explain....... lime, orange, and rosemary essential oils offer positive mood-boosting benefits, orange and lime offer calming benefits, and rosemary aids in mental clarity. When combined, these oils may help you feel happier when you use this spray to clean your home.
I also encourage you to google the properties found in rosemary, lime, and orange oil that make these beneficial additions to your cleaning regimen!
Recipe-
In a 16 oz spray bottle, add
-1 capfuls Thieves Household Cleaner (or 1.5 capfuls if you plan to use this on tougher jobs or as a heavy degreaser)
-15 Drops Rosemary essential oil
-25 Drops Lime essential oil 🍈
-25 Drops Orange essential oil 🍊
top with water, and give it a light shake before spraying.
Spray on countertops, windows, stovetop, refrigerator, sinks, garbage disposals, greasy hands, greasy pots, toilets, carpets (yup- had to do that tonight when a dark-colored drink spilled onto our light carpet- this spray works great and made for quick and easy cleanup !!),
